We all know that the iPad Pre-order phase has begun. Can you guess the number of iPads that Apple has managed to sell? How about you guess it on a hourly basis? In relation to various reports, the Cupertinos are getting 25,000 Apple Tablet orders per hour. Wow that’s a huge number, one which will definitely increase Apple’s market share.

The mechanism that most of the sources are using to track this is by recording the order number. There is no doubt that all the order numbers are not specific to iPad, some of them might be for other products of Apple. However, the probability of Apple getting iPad orders around the 2x,xxx mark per hour is  pretty high since it has had the whole world buzzing with excitement.

Various Sources calculations are based around the hourly 20,000 order mark.

Members at Investor Village’s AAPL Sanity Board have begun entering the order numbers associated with their purchases into a Google spreadsheet.

By 11:05am EST the group had received 15 confirmations with order numbers reaching 74,000. The iPad went up for pre-order at 08:30 EST.

“51,000 orders in two hours,” announced Victor Castroll an analyst with Valcent Financial Group. His estimate takes into account roughly 15,000 non-iPad orders that come in every day.

Silicon Alley Insider posted a similar 20,000-per-hour figure based on two sales made 30 minutes apart whose order numbers differed by 10,000

According to the spreadsheet, 25% pre-ordered Wi-Fi + 3G models and 25% ordered the largest, 64 GB model. A quarter of them also ordered two iPads.

Have you placed your pre-order? If Yes, then how many iPads have your ordered?
