Adobe demos Flash and Air on HP Slate
Back in January, Steve Ballmer announced HP Slate, Microsoft’s answer to iPad. To be fair HP Slate offers one thing which iPad falsely claims to provide – complete web browsing experience which of course includes playing Flash games, viewing Flash videos and more. As a matter of fact, HP has shared a video which shows Adobe Flash and Air running on the Windows 7 powered Tablet. A promo video has been made available as well. Videos after the jump.
In the first video, Adobe’s Alan Tam, shows Adobe Air and Flash in action on the device: Video playback from MTV.com; A Spongebob Squarepants game (most casual games on the Web run in Flash); photo editing at Photshop.com and reading the digital version of the New York Times.
The second video is a quick view of how the Slate will function as an ebook reader, accompanied by an interesting soundtrack.
