Google rolls out Android 2.3.3 for Nexus S, random reboot issue yet to be fixed
Google has announced via their Android Developers blog that they have started rolling out an Android 2.3 update for the proud owners of the Nexus S. Android 2.3.3 is the version number associated with the update which Google describes as a small feature enhancing update.

This update brings additional NFC capabilities for Nexus S and other Gingerbread supporting devices:
- A comprehensive NFC reader/writer API that lets apps read and write to almost any standard NFC tag in use today.
- Advanced Intent dispatching that gives apps more control over how/when they are launched when an NFC tag comes into range.
- Some limited support for peer-to-peer connection with other NFC devices.
The changelog doesn’t mention anything about fixing the random reboot bug which has been affecting the users since December 2010. Nexus S users would be extremely disappointed by this as Google had promised to bring a fix for it in the first week of February.
