We have entered April and the month of May or should I say the month of Google I/O seems a whole lot closer doesn’t it? And as expected Android Ice Cream rumors have started to float. According to PhAndroid and GTVSource, the Gingerbread successor will be a combination of Gingerbread, Honeycomb and wait for it, Google TV.

So what that means is that Google TV will be hitting AOSP (Android Open Source Project) which opens a door to unimagined possibilities. And for those wondering why Honeycomb isn’t hitting AOSP, here’s your answer: Google is getting rid of the Android fragmentation issue once and for all which brings greater things for the Android universe.
