You have to also take into consideration the Asus EEE Pad Transformer, which will be coming out very soon.

Will surely consider that in our next tablet comparison, sir.

The other are best choices, especially when you look for camera and memory, but for me Apple continues to be on top, i would choose iPad and i dont know exactly why. Maybe its because Apple has an awesome marketing strategy behind their products.

You have used the thicker and older version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in your comparison which is somewhat misleading, do you think?

Thank you for taking out your time and giving your views on it, you are correct in your point that the Samsung Galaxy Tab used here is no doubt the older version which is also called Galaxy Tab 10.1V (Vodafone version) but in my personal opinion, the newer version which was launched on 22 March by Samsung is just a little thinner (0.33 inch) than the older one (0.4 inch) with approx 595 g weight – just few grams less, and has an additional feature of TouchWiz user interface. Although what I didn’t find good in it was the modification of its rear camera, as Samsung has inserted a 3.0 mp back camera for their latest Galaxy Tab 10.1 version.
Concluding my point, the newer version is equipped with some slight changes which didn’t gripped much of my attention, and I personally opt for Galaxy Tab 10.1v which has a better 8 mp camera at the back with all other similar features.

Thank you for compiling the data. I hope you will add to it as more models come out.
You failed to state that the Xoom does also have a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a digital compass.

can you still use these devices to make an ordinary phone call? (GSM)
No these tablets doesn’t have a SIM card inserter, so probably you cannot make calls through these devices on GSM, because on GSM network you actually need a SIM card to connect with the network, although there are other applications which can do and receive calls on tablets, like Google Voice, you can also add VoIP application for that. But you might be needing a Bluetooth device for it as you can’t hold these big tablets to your ear for long.
Anyways, few days back I saw a tablet named Olivepad manufactured in India, it’s a pretty average tablet running on Android OS, and it was written under its features that Olivepad is capable of doing calls on GSM network. So search about it and help yourself.

How does Apple do it? Even though the ipad 2 clearly is the loser here. I guess it’s just a simpler product to understand. There is no confusing multi OS like Android 2.x to 3.x. Simple is good but the current trend in Android Tablets is beating the ipad on almost everything except the most important detail, sales. The Galaxy Tab is my choice.
