Apple testing next generation of iPhone called iPhone(3,1)
Rumors are always good and create excitement specially if they are related to iPhone. According to MacRumors, Apple has started developing and testing a new generation of iPhone. This information was shared by iPhone developer Pandav, who spotted this interesting bit of information in its usage records that identified an unreleased iPhone using their app named iBART – a public transportation guide for San Francisco train system.

iPhone3,1 is the internal device identification number assigned by Apple for the upcoming iPhone. There has been very limited information regarding the features and specs for the upcoming iPhone generation. The new iPhone is likely to have multi-core processor which will enhance its performance. It is also expected to become Verizon compatible by mid 2010.
