Bing Audio: The killer feature of Windows Phone Mango
Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone update, Windows Phone Mango will bring more than 500 features, which includes the all important multi-tasking feature as well. But the question is which features are the ones that stand out from the rest? Well, thanks to Winrumors, we have found two Windows Phone 7.1 features which according to us are simply amazing. Video of these said features can be seen after the break.
The features shown in the video are Bing Vision and Bing Audio. Bing Vision the first feature showcased in the video captures images of the objects which aren’t limited to books, CDs and DVDs and brings to you the details you want such as pricing, people’s feedback of the products and so and so forth. Bing Vision can serve the same purpose by scanning barcodes as well which will prove useful when shopping in a SuperMarket and you can’t seem to locate the price tag of a particular product.
The second feature, Bing Audio is my favorite one. And here’s why. It listens to the music running in the background or on your radio and brings details for you such as the song title and the artist name. The fun doesn’t end here. Zune Pass subscribers can get the music streamed instantly to their device. Now that’s my idea of simply brilliant.
Both of these features aren’t Windows Phone exclusive features. Android and iPhone both offer these features but to use them you need to download the app. With Windows Phone, you don’t need to download apps for the said features as they are already integrated into the platform. The Mango’s 500 features are sure to look for, the WP 7 now will be revived of its never updated features and interfaces. The Xbox feature for example is a fun app that the internet junkies will admire and allot their full support to it. All of us appreciate the new and unique add-ons, don’t we?
