Blackberry Storm2 launched; a rival of iPhone
RIM (Research in Motion), the BlackBerry company, released its new smart phone, the BlackBerry Storm 2. The Storm 2 is the successor of RIM’s previous Storm. Now, the BlackBerry Storm 2 boasts its advanced touch screen technology and Wi-Fi. It also has more memory that can take up to 32GB of data via a microSD card, as well as a 3.2 megapixel camera.

The Storm2, is “a biggie for us,” RIM co-Chief Executive Jim Balsillie said in an interview. The smartphone have the original Storm’s clickable touchscreen interface, but improves a bit, faster typing and “multitouch” capabilities, which allow users to type on more than just one part of the screen at a time.

The phone is enabled for next-generation networks and also has Wi-Fi capability like some of the other devices in the BlackBerry lineup.
