Google’s Early Endeavors with Android!
Feb 8th
| Google purchased Android in 2005 for a small, undisclosed amount of money. | In the year 2005 when Google chose to make the Android company as part of its own the outside world of smart phones was overwhelmed by existing giants like iPhone and Microsoft. It was in their acclaimed presence that a noisy inclusion into the market might not have been able to bloom to its fullest. The publicity it would have gained would have involved severe comparisons with tried and tested counterparts. Any lacking on the part of Android would have been severely shunned and may have resulted in the breaking down of the entire launch sequence of it. It was in the light of these thoughts that Android, embedded with, wireless connectivity, social networking service, Google short messaging service, ability to locate the owner’s location and preferences silently made its way through to its present strong position. Google Earth.
Nov 19th
A fascinating way to look at your house from up in the skies! This was my very first personal experience of Google Earth. The 3D image of planet Earth in front of me took me instantly first to my city and then eventually to my desired location within seconds(depends on your internet bandwidth though!) as soon as I entered my city’s name in the search bar. What you may have already guessed from my earlier narration is that Google Earth is a program that virtually depicts our very own planet Earth in front of us.
Downloadable from our very trusted and dependable Google the software gets updated with the latest imagery of physical location at regular intervals. So if you just got your house painted with a new color it may be not be visible instantly but would definitely spring up soon. You can place a landmark on your desired locations on the Globe naming them whichever way you like. This tagging can be made public or kept private as per the user’s experience. It is recommended and considered a healthy activity to tag laces with their original names and make the tagging public so as to add to the richness of the software. More >
