A new week brings new iPhone 5 stories for us to feast upon. Taiwanese website Apple.pro has turned our attention to an image which is alleged to be the prototype unit of iPhone 5.

9 to 5 Mac gang has gotten their hands on an interesting AT&T internal document which hints at a possible launch date for the iPhone 5. If our understanding of the document is correct, October is the month in which once Apple’s favorite son will start selling the much awaited iOS 5 powered phone.

A Taiwan-based company named Pegatron that manufactures the Apple products, has received orders for 15 millions iPhone 5 from Apple, reports Digitimes. According to sources, these 15 million smartphones will be shipping in September 2011.
The title of the post brings bad news as well as good news for iPhone lovers across the globe. AppleInsider citing RBC Capital Markets Analyst Mike Abramsky reports that the Cupertinos plan on selling the iPhone 3GS for free and will delay the nano iPhone launch till 2012, previously rumored for September 2011.
