With Motorola getting all vocal about its yet to be revealed sensation Motorola Droid based on Android 2.0, it begs a question what do other mobile manufactures intend to do about it. Well we know what HTC intends to do . Motorola will be losing its Android 2.0 exclusivity as HTC has announced that it is building Android 2.0 (also called Eclair) based smartphones.

Recently there has been much talk about Windows Mobile 7 in terms of the features and updates it will bring. Microsoft recently posted a job for Windows Mobile division. By going through that job posting, we came to the conclusion that Microsoft plans to use Silverlight and OpenGL for building the Windows Mobile 7 UI.
What led to this conclusion was Microsoft‘s essential requirement (must have) for a potential candidate to have Silverlight experience which confirms the presence of Silverlight in the upcoming Windows Mobile 7.
A few days back, George Hotz revealed a magnificent jailbreak tool for iPhone OS 3.1.2called blackra1n. Initially the release was targeted for Windows platform. Later on, the iPhone OS 3.1.2 jailbreak tool was released for the Mac platform as well. While the tool did its jailbreak function properly and quickly (taking only 30 seconds), there were some issues related to iPod Touch 2G MC support as well as 3G and 3Gs connectivity. HTC Desire was first spotted about 7 weeks ago early in September where all the information was available, and sources were referring it as a HTC Desire 6200.
But the recently captured photograph of HTC Desire confirms that it is an Android phone. This phone is branded by Verizon.
Leaked picture also shows that there is a usual trackball in the middle towards the bottom of the phone along with 2, there are hardly 6 hard buttons, send/end calls for 2 of them, a Home button, menu, back and search button.
No details on are out yet, nothing about what processor it will be running and what would be the camera. According to BGR’s source the HTC Desire is said to be fast and also runs the Sense UI.
