No 1 GB RAM for iPad 2

If you follow Geekword regularly, you would have remembered us asking this very question – how much RAM will iPad 2 have? Well, thanks to AppleInsider, we now have the answer and its not what you want to hear as the second gen Tablet is believed to have just 512 MB of RAM and not the 1 GB RAM many of us thought.

With Apple just announcing the second generation iPad, we were expecting the humor industry to come up with some funny stuff and we haven’t been disappointed. iTunes 10.2 unleashed, brings iOS 4.3 and iPad 2 support

Apparently, Apple forgot to mention one little thing in its iPad 2 launch event. You may have thought on the same lines when the iTunes 10.2 update screen popped on your machine. Well it’s never too late for this right? Apple has rolled out iTunes 10.2 which brings the iOS 4.3 and iPad 2 support.

The iPad 2 launch event was simply amazing. I mean I have never seen my Twitter client TweetDeck go crazy as it did today and all of it was due to Steve Jobs announcing the iPad successor. I was just revisiting the iPad 2 announcement post to make sure that I didn’t miss anything. While I didn’t miss out on anything, I realized one thing – the Apple CEO, who made a surprise appearance didn’t shed light on some of the more important aspects of the Tablet.
