The famous Redmond based company Microsoft on September 13th, 2011 at the BUILD conference unveiled their future operating system by showcasing a detailed preview of Windows 8. We voluntarily covered the whole event online and gathered few images of the new Windows 8 for our users – which can be seen HERE.
Since Microsoft has released the developers preview of Windows 8 – which can be downloaded from HERE. Engadget has shared a report which has nothing but good news for Windows lovers around the world. Microsoft during its keynote speech at the Computex event promised to show off its next version of Windows, Windows 8 at 10PM ET, Wednesday in the US. That’s Thursday for Dubai based Windows lovers.

The month of March saw Windows 8 pre-release version going live to some Connect members and once that happens you know that a storm of Windows 8 leakages is just around the corner. The latest round of leakage comes via Rafael Rivera in cooperation with Paul Thurrott. Both these Microsoft junkies have come across a Microsoft built PDF reader that will be called Modern Reader and will become packaged with Windows 8.

According to an unnamed source familiar with Microsoft’s plans, the Redmondians will be offering a demo preview of Windows 8 Tablet interface in the month of June.

We all know that Microsoft started working on the next version of Windows, Windows 8 once they launched Windows 7. But what we don’t know is when will it be released. That is all going to change now thanks to Chris Green, a Microsoft product manager. The PM has published a roadmap, or GANTT chart if you like that suggest 1st, July 2011 as the release date for Windows 8. Wait, the chart has a lot of other useful information such as the support dates for the fastest selling OS, and other Microsoft products. All of this and more after the jump.
