We told you that there was more to the 12 megapixel camera capable Windows Phone and we have been proven right. Eldar Murtazin, the man of the moment via a couple of screenshots has let us know that the phone he previously teased is from HTC and not from Nokia.
Now that’s what I call a perfect beginning to a new blogging week. Eldar Murtazin, the man who has the insider info when it comes to smartphones, seems to have gotten his hands on a Windows Phone device which may very well be the Nokia W8 / W7, also teased by the man in the spotlight.
Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone update, Windows Phone Mango will bring more than 500 features, which includes the all important multi-tasking feature as well. But the question is which features are the ones that stand out from the rest? Well, thanks to Winrumors, we have found two Windows Phone 7.1 features which according to us are simply amazing. Tuesday was a big day for Microsoft and their followers around the globe as the Redmondians unveiled their next generation of Windows Phone, the 500 plus features carrying Windows Phone Mango. One of the features that captured my interest was the must have multi-tasking feature. WPCentral has shared a video of the said feature in action which can be seen after the jump.
John Paczkowski of AllThingsD has shared a news which will please smartphone enthusiasts looking to get their hands on Nokia’s Windows Phone Debutant. Citing Jo Harlow’s interview with Forbes, Paczkowski has hinted at the Finlander’s intention of rolling out their first Windows Phone Mango powered smartphone in the current year.
Talk about major OS upgrade and we have Microsoft right up there. WMPU reports that Microsoft’s CEO while giving a keynote speech at the Microsoft’s Developer Forum 2011 in Japan revealed that the Mango update for Windows Phone will bring over 500 new features for the Windows Phone devices.
WMPU has gotten a tip from their anonymous insider which suggests that HTC is prepping two Windows Phone 7.5 handsets which are likely to be called HTC Omega and HTC Eternity.
The first quarter of 2011 brought for us the first Windows Phone 7 powered CDMA phone courtesy Sprint. and it seems that the smartphone enthusiasts will see the first world Windows Phone 7 in the same year as well. XDA has revealed that the first world Windows Phone 7 will be called HTC Mazaa, which by the way reminds me of HTC ChaCha.
One thing we know about Eldar Murtazin is that he knows quite a lot about the upcoming smartphones. What inside information has he shared this time? Well he has revealed the name of the first Windows Phone 7 device to come from Nokia, W8.
