The word of Information Technology begins its happenings right from the beginning of each Gregorian calendar by executing a highly reputed and much awaited Consumer Electronics Show (CES) annually in every January. This year the event CES 2013 was organized from Tuesday January 8th to Friday January 11th.

Electronics manufacturing companies take pride in presenting their products in the well reputed CES. The event, though is not open to general public, is eagerly awaited by individuals and companies alike since its breakthroughs the latest developments in the world of technology. Held at Las Vegas convention Las Vegas this year’s event highlighted loads of interesting products similar to its preceding annual events.

This year the event had loads to offer.  From High Definition Screens, 3D Interfaces, Touch Screen Computing Equipment, Gaming Platforms and Robots to a lot more. The event was starred with so many products that it was hard to leave viewing one and proceed on towards the next.

The Sony company came with a Smartphone which was WATERPROOF! Called the Xperia Z this phone is quad-core and is expected to give its competitors a hard time. Microsoft promoted its Surface Pro which is a much hyped tablet which combines the portability and convenience of a tablet into the completeness of a personal computer. Sony and Panasonic introduced their 4K Ultra HD OLED Televisions. Razer Edge, a gaming tablet and laptop hybrid shone in CES along with Project Shield which posed a 4K processor and five inch multitouch screen along with being an Android Environment.

Above was a short overview of 2013 which ceased with the onset to the countdown of next year’s event.
