China Unicom sets 1st October as the launch date for iPhone

China Unicom has been preparing to sell iPhone in China. In this post we will be informing you about the release date for iPhone. So here it goes. China Unicom has plans of selling iPhone in China from 1st October. Interestingly, on the very same date China Unicom will be officially launching its very own 3G wireless service.

Following are the iPhone models that will be put on sale

• iPhone 3G 8 GB
• iPhone 3G 16 GB
• iPhone 3G 32 GB

iPhone Price

China Unicom would be offering the unsubsidized version of iPhone for 5000 yuan which is equivalent to 732.50 US Dollars.

Subsidized iPhone packages

In total China Unicom will be offering 8 packages up for grab with the price ranging from 126 yuan to 886 yuan per month.
