Chrome for Mac Beta updated, brings extension support
Back in December, Google unveiled the much awaited Chrome for Mac Beta. Even though the release was welcomed with both hands it did lack a few important and highly demanded features such as extensions support and bookmark synchronization. Google has rolled out an update for the Beta version of Chrome for Mac , which I will be calling Chrome for Mac Beta 2. This Beta update adds those missing features and other interesting features which we discuss after the jump.
Chrome for Mac Beta 2
The second beta of Chrome for the Mac platform brings the following features:
-
Extensions support (A big Yahoo!).
-
Bookmark synchronization.
-
Bookmark managers.
-
Cookie managers.
-
Task Manager.
Don’t worry, the Bookmark synchronization is compatible with the Chrome version for Windows and Linux version.
If you are already using Chrome for Mac Beta, you will be updated to the latest version automatically. To ensure it, the update will take your build number to 5.0.37. Google claims that this Beta version will be snappy, safe, and simple to browse. But this is something you will verify. So start your download engines and share with us the goods and the bads of this version.
