Back  in March, we shared with you a video preview of a pretty cool looking app called Dashboard. Yes, I am talking about the very same app that brings with it the cool proposition of getting the Mac widgets right onto the magical Apple Tablet. Well this pretty useful app was rejected from the App Store and as expected has landed at the Cydia, a place where it will truly be admired.

Using this app, you can change the position of the widgets as well as search and download the new widgets from Apple’s official site. If you term this app as a rewrite of the Dashboard app for Mac, then you are bang on target. The app still needs some fine tuning as it takes a bit of time too load and becomes a hindrance when you want to use it simultaneously with a normal app, in other words it doesn’t satisfy the widgets concept completely.

To you use this app, you need to jailbreak your iPad using the recently launched Spirit, the steps to which can be found here. For more interesting iPad jailbreak stuff, check out our How to Guide for iPad which contains useful and interesting tips such as enabling voice control for the iPad, increasing the number of tabs that can be opened on Safari for iPad and so on.
