Dell Streak gets Honeycomb love
These Android developers/hackers surely know how to do the unthinkable don’t they? A MoDaCo member has managed to bring Honeycomb SDK to Dell Streak, which has always been promoted by Dell as a tablet and not a smartphone. Where does the Android 3.0 port stand in terms of stability? Find the answer after the jump.
Since this is the very first build of the tablet friendly edition of Android, the ROM can’t be termed as a stable one. Looking at the image shown above, one must admit that Honeycomb does look great on the 5 inch slate.
The developer is having some issues in getting the Tablet screen to behave properly. But something tells me that it’s only a matter of time before we get a more well behaving Honeycomb port. What’s your feedback on this port?
