delllogoThere are reports that Dell is likely to launch its mobile phone in China tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. In relation to this, previously reports have  surfaced identifying China Mobile or China Unicom being the carrier partner for this phone.  Speculations are still going around as to what will be the OS that the phone will be running on. TechCrunch believes that Android is the likely candidate since Dell has been working with Google on an Android-powered tablet computer in the last few months.

Here comes a twist in the tale, in the month of April, Reuters came out with a report that suggested the possibility of  Dell creating a proprietary operating system with China-based software maker Red Office. So the game could go either way. As far as the hardware is concerned it is likely that phone will be similar to that of an iPhone, keyboard free, touch screen.

Unfortunately that is all what he have for you right now. Be sure to check out for more news on this topic once the news is out.
