Disable Aero shake feature in Windows 7
Are you familiar with a feature in Windows 7 which goes by the name “Aero Shake”. Using this feature if you shake any open window application fast, it minimizes all the other windows leaving this application open. The usefulness of this application is that there might be scenarios in which you want to minimize all windows except the one you are currently working on.
Here are the steps to disable this cool feature if you desire to do so:
- In the start menu’s search box type gpedit.msc and press the Enter key. This will open the Group Policy Editor.
- Navigate to Desktop section by following this hierarchy User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Desktop.
- Switching your focus to the right hand side pane, Navigate to Turn off Aero Shake window minimizing mouse gesture. Click on Edit policy setting. This will open a new windows.In the appearing window, change its status to Enabled.
