Engadget’s source have once again proven themselves as a reliable one and have done the giant gadget a world of good as well. 12th August, the previously rumored release date for Droid 2 has just received the official confirmation thanks to a PR rolled out by Verizon and Motorola. The Droid successor will be available for pre-order on verizonwireless.com starting from tomorrow 11th August. The device will hit the Verizon Retail stores starting from Thursday.
