E.ON Innovation Summary

It has been amazing! Simply amazing to have been a part of the E.ON innovation and Home of the Future drive. Getting to know so many ideas and those too practical ones, made me realize I am not the only Genie around!
With all the brilliant ideas being poured in at the E.ON Innovation site www.eon-innovation.com, I and all other participants felt that we already were practically in our future homes and were not just thinking of the future prospects of it!
I found myself fully supportive of the five winning ideas.
Just £2 for so many miles of travelling with an eco-friendly electric car of Pereras… it was enough to get fascinated but it was just a beginning of the saga. The wireless sound system extension of iPod and Smartphones would definitely impact the conventional heavy duty and non-ecofriendly manufacturing of electronic products. With the blend of mechatronics and manual effort the electric bike was an as splendid product as others. To me it would help in maintaining health as well. The green power house would be a healthy addition to the Go-Green drive running internationally. The greatest and most mind blowing was the Eco-house. It was like personally maintaining a fully sustainable eco-system. Just imagine your own little crop inside the premises of your own house. You only need to leisurely stroll around into your backyard and grab the healthiest of snacks. Your own garden’s red tomatoes!!! You can take a look at the final five winners.
What do you think how the final winners have been? Are they not really innovative ideas? Imagine each one of us contributing towards promoting our homes in the ‘E.ON innovation’ style and become a part of a sustainable and greener future!
Even though the contest is over but the charged up discussion still goes on. If you have missed out on the amazing Eon Innovation drive so far you can still pour in your affective ideas on twitter using the hashtag #eoninnov or by merely following @talkingenergy. One of the fellow followers tweeted: “#HomeoftheFuture Just love this show, it’s so interesting. #zeebox” (https://twitter.com/tonyblackburn/statuses/178929355513266176) encouraging our discussion arena even more!
