Facebook for Android 1.5 brings Facebook Chat and Push Notifications support
Now that’s what I call an exciting app update. Facebook for Android has been updated to v1.5 and it brings the changes you have been waiting for a long long time. Yes the app now brings Facebook Chat support to your Android handset, which we wished for when the v1.4 hit the market.
Another significant feature included in this update is the addition of the Push Notifications support which obviously is a welcome and user friendly addition. But the real star of the show has to be the Facebook chat, since it allows me to chat with my Facebook buddies right from the official Facebook app. To get the latest update, please head over to Android Market and get the update that’s waiting for you. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code provided below.
So what’s next for the Android app? How about providing the ability to capture and send photos while chatting with a friend?
