Now You Can Add Your Expected Child To Facebook
Facebook users have been adding their family members such as Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, etc, in the family section beneath their profile pictures. Latest report by Facebook tells us that users can now list that they have an expected child along with a due date and a name for the ‘unborn’ by choosing the “Expected Child” option within the family section, although no profile or page is created for the child. We have a lot more about this report after the break.
The image above shows how it looks like when you choose the “Expected Child” option.
To add this information to your profile, click on “edit profile” on your profile page:
Then select the Friends and Family option:
Then finally choose the “Expected Child” option, fill in the desired information and save the changes made.
There you go, all your Facebook friends now know that you are expecting a child!
Previously parents used profile pictures of ultra sound scan reports and statuses to tell their Facebook friends about their expected child, so now they don’t have to create separate profiles for their expected child with ultrasounds as profile picture.

This feature is for those people who want to announce to their family and friends…and the people who think this is invading their privacy or its not needed they may not opt for this option….whats the need to create an issue out of this…you may not like it but some other people would like it……
