Facebook Pages allow ‘Audience Targeting’ in Wall Posts
Do you know, Facebook allow page owners to choose the target audience (region wise), through this amazing feature available within Facebook page?
Page administrators can target wall posts to specific fans by the options of location and language provided inside page settings. Here’s what Facebook says about this feature:
Did you know you can target your Facebook posts by location and language using your page? Try it by clicking on the drop-down next to “share” and then customizing the target of the post. You can be as broad as a country and all languages or as targeted as specific language speakers in a city of your choice. Only those that meet the target will see it in their news feed.
For example, If you are administrating a particular page with large number of fans and you want to update certain fans about a concert taking place in their regional area, then you can easily inform that target audience about the event through managing the available options of location and language.
Below are the steps to guide, how you can target individual wall posts in fan page:
1: First click the drop-down menu next to Share button.
2: You can choose your audience in two ways – location and languages.
3: For example you choose United States in Location, now you can either post update to whole country’s fans in page, or you can select State/Province or even City.
4: You can also select target fans through the language they speak.
Now you can even target wall posts in your profile-turned-fan-page by going through the same steps provided above.
