Facebook reaches the 300 million Monthly Active Users milestone

This might not come as a surprise to you. Facebook has just reached the 300 million MAU(Monthly Active Users) milestone. These users come from all around the globe. As InsideFacebook reports, Facebook added 50 million users in exactly 75 days which represents an average of 670,000 users per day. It was around Mid-July that Facebook reached the 250 million MAU landmark and the graph just keeps going upward and deservingly so.

Back in January, Facebook had 150 million users. Hence its user base has doubled since January and 150 million new users have joined Facebook.

It is worth mentioning that more than 71% of Facebook’s user reside in countries which does not include USA. Presently Facebook has 50 million active American users.
