Today is Facebook’s sixth birthday, and it has got a birthday gift, which is one of the best that Mark Zuckerberg and co would have wished for. Facebook’s impressive user base just reached the impressive 400 million user mark. Facebook, wants to celebrate its sixth birthday in style and is in the give mode as well, as pointed out by Zuckerberg a few minutes back. What does this mean? More impressive and innovative product announcements are expected to be made by your favorite social network shortly.

This is what Mark Zuckerberg quotes:

So to celebrate six years of Facebook and the 400 million people on the service, we’re doing what we like doing most—building and launching products for people. Tonight we’ll host a celebration at Facebook headquarters, and we’ll release a handful of new things that will improve people’s Facebook experience, including a couple that people have requested a lot.

The thing which amazes me here is the fact that back in December, it reached the 350 million user mark, and within just two months it has reached the impressive 400 million figure.

How has your experience been with the six year old social network? More importantly how long have you been using it? Did you find it to your liking? We are waiting for your valued response.
