Facebook has rolled out a new prototype, one that will really make the Facebook users happy specially those who are sick and tired of the click hungry photo albums. The prototype is called Slideshow which does as the name suggest. With one click it will show you the whole photo album requiring no further interaction from your side.
Since the Slideshow comes to you in the form of a prototype. To use it, you need to download/install it by navigating to the Facebook’s prototype page . In case you don’t like this new prototype, you can always deactivate it or uninstall it.
Once done with the download part. Head over to the photo album. On the top right part of the image, you will see a Play link. Click on it, sit back and enjoy the pictures while Slideshow does the navigation part for you. If you want to pause the slideshow press the Stop button.
Unfortunately, Slideshow is not customizable and you can’t set a time interval for moving to the next image. One more thing which I would like to see is give the Slideshow control buttons more focus may by increasing its font size or changing their appearance.
Facebook has been really active and in the give mood ever since it reached its sixth birthday. First it rolled out a new home page design, then followed it up with a photo uploader plugin and now this. How have you found the recent changes introduced by the social network used by more than 400 million users.
Activate/Install Slideshow prototype here.
