iPhone does file sharing with PC/Mac,reveals iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 3
What would you feel if I told you that now you can share files between your iDevice and your computer be it Mac or Windows? Well , this feature is now a reality and is available in the just released iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 3. A token of thanks goes to BGR for discovering and sharing the file transfer feature.
Here is how this feature works:
You plug your iPhone into iTunes, head on over to the Apps page and scroll down. From there you’ll be able to drag files to and from your iPhone and your computer.
It seems that currently the firmware supports this feature for the Mail app only. But lets just hope it goes beyond that. The latest Beta release of iPhone OS 4.0 has also brought a useful looking iPod widget and screen orientation lock, the details to which can be found here.
