Firefox 3.5 and Twitter not going along well

For the past few days, I have been using Twitter with Firefox 3.5 and was experiencing an undesirable delay in updating my status and posting tweets. Initially I thought that it was because of my Internet connection. Then, I was forced to use Internet Explorer and there I noticed that the delay was not there. Finally I reached to the conclusion that Firefox 3.5 and Twitter can’t seem to go along well. Michael Arrington himself shared with us the same problem.

The good news is that Twitter itself is aware of this unfortunate problem and is working to resolve this issue. Twitter said:

Some users are unable to update on the web using Firefox 3.5. Other actions like following and sending DMs are also affected.

We’re working on solving this problem.

It has been one week since Twitter signalled this problem. Uptill now I haven’t experienced any difference in the delay. I wonder when will the issue be resolved. I hope pretty soon. Do share with us if you are part of this problem.
