Mozilla has rolled out yet another beta for its upcoming Firefox 4.0. Firefox 4.0 Beta 4 is the name of this latest update which brings a couple of extremely useful options. All in all, we have been blessed with two new features namely Firefox sync and Panorama (formerly known as Candy Bar) that will only increase our browsing experience and love for Firefox by letting you sync your browsing data across a range of devices and organize your tabs the way you like it.


Firefox 4.0 Beta 4 features

  • Firefox Sync – Firefox Sync enables you to synchronize your bookmarks, Awesome Bar, passwords, form-fill data and opened tabs and access them on any computer/ mobile phone (Firefox Home for instance) that has Firefox installed on it. Firefox Sync is privacy sensitive as it encrypts all of your data before sending it to the server and does not track your travels throughout the Web. When you install the latest version of Firefox 4.0 Beta you will be prompted to create a Firefox Sync account to let the syncing fun begin.
  • Firefox Panorama – Tab Candy is another name of this cool tab management feature. All it does is it gives you the flexibility to organize your tabs by arranging them in groups. Let us say you are a social media man and have Facebook, Twitter opened on your Firefox along with other dozen of tabs. Panorama gives you the option to group the Facebook and Twitter tabs under a group which you can call Social Media and other opened tabs in other groups as per their genre. This way you are free from hassle and can focus more on your work.
