Video: Firefox for Android pre-alpha build on Nexus One
Quick Share:
Just now we shared with you the news of the roll out of the pre-alpha build of Firefox for Android. As always, I was on the look out for a hands-on video that would show how the browser actually works and what is the user experience like. Thanks to Android Central, I got what I was looking for. Demo video of Fennec for Android running on Nexus One can be seen after the jump.
The browser seems to be running pretty smoothly. Multi-touch is missing, pinch to zoom is just on the basic level or almost non-existent. Landscape works fine. Weave sync support is of course the highlight of this build. The browser scored 96 out of 100 in the pretty important Acid3 test, which is awesome for a pre-alpha browser.
