We all know that Apple Tablet is coming on 27th January. For those who have any doubts about its arrival, here is a confirmation and a reconfirmation (for those who know that the hot gizmo is coming) that iSlate is indeed coming. Flurry, a mobile apps analytics firm has spotted 50 iSlates based in Cupertino testing apps which belong to different categories including gaming, news and books and more.

Flurry-Graph-1

Flurry has been kind enough to post a graph shown above. Here are the highlights of the observation shared by Flurry.

  • Large number of gaming apps were downloaded and tested, 140 to be exact.
  • Next in the line, Entertainment apps have been download for testing purposes.
  • News and Books apps are being tested as well.
  • iTunes / App Store based iPhone apps have been downloaded for testing purposes.
  • A new iPhone OS, iPhone OS 3.2 has been used on these pre-release tablets

So here is the bottom line – Apple Tablet is coming on 27th January and you can expect a new iPhone OS announcement from the Cupertinos, which has become more of a tradition.
