Samsung Galaxy S2 is world’s thinnest smartphone

When it rains Galaxy S2 rumors and leakages, it pours. That’s the best way to describe last couple of days in the Android universe. Engadget folks claim to have gotten hold of some internal Samsung documents which has the stuff you are looking for  – specs for Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S2.

Here’s what the spec sheet looks like

  • 1 Ghz dual core Orion/ Exynos processor.
  • Runs on Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread.
  • NFC Capable.
  • Bluetooth 3.0.
  • 4.3 inch multi-touch Super AMOLED Plus touch-screen with a supported resolution of 800*480 megapixels.

The device is said to measure 8.49 mm in thickness which if you remember is less than LG Optimus Black (9.2 mm). You know what that means right? Yes, Galaxy S2 could very well be world’s new thinnest smartphone. Let’s see if Samsung can confirm this for us in the presser which will be made available sometime today.
