The CES 2011 show just got a whole lot interesting. If the thought of Verizon announcing iPhone, Samsung announcing its iPod Touch competitor Galaxy Player wasn’t enough to excite you than this might change your mind. According to Korea Times, the Koreans may very well unveil the the Samsung Galaxy successor, which is likely to be called Galaxy S2 at one of the world’s largest consumer technology trade show.

Don’t be surprised if Samsung announces Galaxy Tab 2 which you can think of as a successor to the well performing Galaxy Tab. This Tablet will be powered by Honeycomb and will have a Tegra 2 processor which means more battery power and excellent gaming graphics quality to enjoy.

According to the rumored specs of Galaxy S2, Galaxy S successor will have a dual core processor, 4.5 inch touch screen and more that will push Galaxy S2 as the Gingerbread device that you can’t avoid and will of course take away the spotlight from Nexus S which has been a weak Android phone of sorts.
