Those of you who follow me on Twitter may have noticed the change of location on my profile page. Yes, I am now in Dubai and Yesterday I went to the World Trade Center to attend the Hotel Show where Samsung was exhibiting its products. And as you might have guessed, I got to play with the new Galaxy Tab 10.1, the video experience of which awaits you after the break.

Galaxy Tab 10.1

A quick specs reminder. the first Honeycomb Tablet from Samsung has a 10.1 inch screen, 1 Ghz dual core processor, 8 MP rear facing camera and 2 MP front facing imager. The model which was showcased by Samsung was the 16 GB 3G+WiFi version.

The thing which attracted me the most about the Galaxy Tab 10.1 was the brightness and crispness of the display screen. The tablet was light weighted and easy to hold and handle. I was unable to test the camera as the camera app kept crashing on me, due to the Honeycomb version being a pre-release one.

Based on the short time I had with the Galaxy Tab 10.1, I felt that this was the Honeycomb Tablet to get if you are an Android fan. We are trying our level best to secure a review unit so we can do a more thorough drive of the Tablet and share with you some interesting insights into the Tablet.

Want to play with the Galaxy Tab 10.1? Well, if you are in Dubai, you can do so. All you need to do is visit the World Trade Center. The Hotel show will end today at 6:00 PM (Dubai time). The entrance is free and the Samsung representatives are really friendly and helpful. So you might as well pay a visit to them and see and use the sensational Honeycomb Tablet yourself.

As far as the release dates, are concerned, Galaxy Tab launch in Dubai is expected to take place in the latter part of June.
