Critical Thought Games, makers of geoDefense have announced that they will be bringing a sequel of geoDefense, geoDefense 2 for the iPhone and the to be released iPad. This exciting news was shared by David Whatley, the developer of the game at the GDC 2010.

Here is what Whatley said about the game headed for the iPhone platform:

I’m going to do a version for iPhone and a separate one for iPad. The iPad version will have completely different levels.

As a matter of fact, the developer sees greater things for iPad, possibly on the lines of HD quality given the larger screen the Apple Tablet has to offer.   The iPad version might even have a different name attached to it possibly geoDefense HD.

The second version of the game will be bringing a few new things without comprising the core aspects and elements of the game. iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad owners can expect to get their hands on the game before the end of 2010. The question is will you get the game once it goes live?
