Gingerbread for Galaxy S leaks out
So you thought XDA guys were all about rooting phones and Tablets, and porting firmwares? Well, it’s time to update this knowledge of yours. XDA has leaked out the whereabouts of the official Gingerbread ROM for Galaxy S.

The leaked out ROM has the version number Android 2.3.2 and not the recently launched Android 2.3.3. Moreover, the ROM is at the Beta level something which the adventurous owners of the most sold Android phone might want to remember.
To end this post on a happy note, we have two things to share with you. First, this very ROM has been rooted which shouldn’t come as a surprise. Secondly this leakage can be treated as a confirmation for all variants of Galaxy S getting the Gingerbread update, which seemed unlikely at a certain stage, and not just the European based Galaxy S handsets.
