Gingerbread brings voice call issues for Nexus One users
Gingerbread hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for Nexus One users. First, they were made to wait forever for the promised Android 2.3 update and now we hear Android Guys reporting of Gingerbread bringing voice call headaches for the N1 users.
Here is what this issue is all about. The voice calls initiate with a delay and anything you say within the delay period of 2 –3 seconds gets dropped which is frustrating for both the caller and the receiver. Thankfully, this issue hasn’t affected the entire Nexus One population.
The most disappointing thing that is there for everyone to see is the non-serious approach taken by Google regarding this unpleasant. Instead of providing the current status of the bug, a Google representative is asking the affected users to report it as a Nexus One issue and not a Gingerbread issue.
