Google+ app for iPhone reported to be number one in Apple’s AppStore

Only one day has passed, and the recently landed iPhone app for Google+, Google’s revolutionary network, has already achieved the number-one ‘free app’ position in Apple’s AppStore, reports ABCNews.
The current version of Google+ app is 1.0.1.1809, which can be downloaded for free from the iTunes. At this initial stage the app only supports iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and is not compatible with iPad or iPod Touch devices, but still surprisingly it has gained the top rank in Apple’s AppStore.
Circles, Huddles, Streams, are the only three features from the social network that are currently included in the Google+ app for iPhone, beside this the app also gives users the ability to upload pictures directly from their iPhone to Google+ profiles.
