Google Docs reduces limitations for PDF files
Google Docs has made some changes that will make you happy once you read it, specially if you frequenlty use pdf files with Google Docs. The reason I specifically referred to users who frequently use pdf files is that these changes are particularly targeted to pdf files.
Previously when you uploaded a pdf file, you would only be able to see the first 100 pages via the viewer. This limitation is no longer in practice and you can upload longer documents as long as their size is not more than 10 MB.
Another notable change made is that the user can upload more than 100 PDFs. However there is no clear idea of the new upper bound for the total no of documents that can be uploaded.
The viewer that is used to display PDF documents, does this task by converting pages of a PDF to PNG images. The viewer also posseses special features namely zoom, search and text selection.
Well thats another change made in favor of you. I hope that this trend continues.
