Google Maps knows where Osama Bin Laden died
The death of Osama Bin Laden is the topic that everyone wants to talk about and is trending on Twitter which comes as no surprise for us. Mashable which likes talking about trending topics reports that the very useful Google Maps has been updated to point to the location of where the raid operation took place and resulted in the death of Osama Bin Laden.
The area pinpointed in the map is Abottabad, a city located to the north of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. This revelation comes as a surprise considering the fact that the highlighted city is an urban area and in a point of attraction for tourists but hey life is never short of surprises is it.
Google Maps and Google Places users are making their voice heard by posting reviews on the Places page to let the world know what they think about this event.
