Google unveils Google Shopper for Android
Quick Share:
Google has announced an all new shopping app for Android and is calling it Google Shopper. As the name suggests, the app is your shopping guide or assistant if you like. The thing which I like the most about is that it uses your mobile phone’s camera to reveal pricing details for the desired product. It is available for download from the Android Marketplace. You can also consider it as an extension/enhancement of Google Goggles. It brings with it a cool set of features which you can read after the jump.
Google Shopper for Android features
-
Provides detailed product information: Powered by Google Product search, this app provides you with the prices, review, specifications of the product thus enabling you to make a smart purchase.
-
Barcode scanner: Gets product information by scanning the barcode located at the back of the product.
-
Voice Search: Don’t want to use your camera, you can always search using your voice
-
Scan the covers of books and media: Point the camera phone at the cover art of a book, CD, DVD, or video game.
-
Save your history and favorites: This is a neat little option to keep track of your shopped/searched products. You can also favorite the items you love the most
To use this product, you need to reside in a place where online shopping is a live thing. The question is – are you willing to give it a try?

Thank you for finding the time to go over this, I feel strongly about it and love learning on this topic. If at all, since you gain expertise, does one mind updating your site with extra information? It is very ideal for me.
