Google to demo Chrome OS this Thursday
Ever since Google announced its Google Chrome OS, various rumors surfaced onto the web showing fake pictures of what Google Chrome OS might look like and similar stuff. Well all this is set to come to an end. Google is holding a Google Chrome OS demo event this Thursday in which it will showcase the capabilities of its yet to be released OS. Google Headquarters is the decided venue.

Google announced Chrome OS to public back in July, but that was the only official thing we heard from Google regarding their OS uptil now. But all this will change this Thursday. Google Chrome OS is an attempt by Google to build an OS that is browser-like light weighted and will initially target netbooks, the lighter version of notebooks.
Last week, we did tell you that Google Chrome OS first version might be coming this week, so there is a probability that Google besides showing demos might also announce the availability of Chrome OS .
Google will put on a few demos to display its OS capabilities. This was mentioned in the invitation that was distributed by Google to the press members. Also Sundar Pichai, vice president of product management, and Matthew Papakipos, engineering director for Google Chrome OS are scheduled to give presentation to the attendees.
So here you have it, come this Thursday, we will have official knowledge of what Google Chrome OS has to offer to its users. Stay tuned, we will be sharing with you all there is to know about the OS from Google, once the search engine giants unveils it this Thursday.
