Want Google Search on Windows Phone 7? There’s an app for that
Well this was pretty much on the cards wasn’t it? Google, the search engine giants have rolled out a Windows Phone 7 native app to facilitate the Windows Phone users’ search side of things and they are calling it Google Search.
Google Search for Windows Phone 7 allows provides you:
Quick and convenient access to a rich set of search results, allowing you to search the web, images, local, news, and more.
To make sure that the searching doesn’t consume a lot of time, the app
- Provides suggestions as you type your search query.
- Repeat a query from your search history.
- Provides more relevant results based on your current location.
The app which works in landscape mode as well, is available for free for all Windows Phone 7 devices and comes in all languages. To get the app just launch the Marketplace and search for “Google Search” and you are good to go. You might want to pin the app to the start so that the search feature is there when you need it.
