I never thought that I would be reporting such news to you guys given the high standards that Apple sets for its operating systems. But hey I won’t be doing justice with you guys if I don’t share with you this rather sad news. Well bad news for Snow Leopard users as well as Apple. It seems that Snow Leopard has been affected by a major bug.

How does the bug work

Apparently, the bug performs its dirty work once user log into Snow Leopard using the Guest account. After logging out as a Guest account and signing in with their own dedicated user account, user get shocked as they are unable to see  and access their personal and valuable data. What’s worst, it is believed that the lost data is irrecoverable

What to do now

It is strongly advised and recommended to not login as a Guest or rather disable the guest account. You may even want to take a backup of your valuable data as soon as possible

What’s Apple saying

Unfortunately, not a single word has been heard from Apple regarding this rather growing serious matter.  However I am optimistic about Apple coming out with an official statement regarding this unfortunate incident, given the high customer satisfaction level Apple sets for itself.
