Here comes blackra!n : A jailbreak for iPhone OS 3.1.2

Want a jailbreak for the latest iPhone OS 3.1.2? It has been just a couple of days since Apple released iPhone OS 3.1.2. And already, the jailbreak is available now. blackra!n is the name of the jailbreak solution for iPhone OS 3.1.2.

blackra!n works on all generations of iPhone and iPod Touch. George Hotz claims that this jailbreak will take only 30 seconds to perform its intended task.

At the time of writing this post, the download link was not available. Hotz has stated that he will provide the download link once blackra!n becomes a trending topic on Twitter.

Beware iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS users

Hotz advises owners of iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS to avoid upgrading to 3.1.2 using iTunes if they want to keep their devices unlocked. The reason being that jailbreak cannot downgrade the Baseband.
