HTC has a soft corner for Windows Mobile
HTC HD2 is the most popular and exciting Windows Mobile phone. There were talks that HTC might be building an Android version of HTC HD2, but all that can be kept aside since it is not going to happen. Peter Chou, HTC CEO came out and said HTC won’t be building an Android version of HD2.

HTC CEO stated in an interview
Technically, we could make the HD2 an Android phone, but I have to take care of Windows Mobile…We’re working hard on these kinds of products to get excitement about Windows Mobile back
From this statement one thing is evident, HTC has a soft corner for Microsoft whereas Microsoft has found itself a loyal partner in HTC. However Microsoft should not go on and test their loyalty again and again. Instead they would be better off if they shift their focus to Windows Mobile OS and produce a trend setting Windows Mobile OS. Here is a question for you guys. Will HTC remain loyal to Windows Mobile or will we see HTC ultimately switching to another platform, most probably Android.
