Greenpois0n to bring a permanent untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2
As I said before, its pouring jailbreak news. p0sixninja, the Chronic Dev Team member has unveiled via his Twitter account that his team is working on bringing a permanent untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1.
Here’s the tweet:
I apologize for the delay in greenpois0n 4.2.1 support. Our current focus is on a permanent untether solution
By permanent untether solution, I guess the iPhone hacker is pointing to a method that will ensure untethered jailbreak for the future iOS firmwares.
This means we now have not one, not two, but three untethered jailbreaks in the works. But one thing that we don’t know yet is which jailbreak tool will go live first – iPhone Dev Team’s one, comex’s userland jailbreak or Greenpois0n? Following links will prove useful in case you want to know about the other two untethered jailbreaks:
comex’s untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1 coming before Christmas
